Tina C. Jones, an Award-Winning Researcher, is also an author, teacher, musician and lecturer. Ms. Jones is the 2007 recipient of the prestigious People's Award presented by The Association for the Study of African American Life and Culture. She had an article published in the July 2008 issue of the American Legion magazine, entitled, "Slave Patriot." The article is about OSCAR MARION, an African American unsung hero of the American Revolutionary War who served with the infamous "Swamp Fox." In January 2010, Ms. Jones had a biography published on the life of OSCAR MARION by Oxford University Press.
